“Falling Over” is a near-dead ringer for the Zombies’s “Tell Her No.”

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, but stylistically steeped in the so-called “Swingin’ ’60s” of London, the Whitsundays craft moddish pop that draws heavily from the Zombies, the Kinks, and any number of other acts of that ilk.

The Nightcrawlers were formed in Daytona Beach, FL, in the mid-’60s and along with the Birdwatchers and We the People, were one of the most regionally popular Florida rock groups of that era.

Released as a single in late 1969, it became Santana’s first top 40 and top 10 hit in the U.S., peaking at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. Gregg Rolie performs the lead vocals and plays a Hammond organ solo in the middle section. The double-time coda includes a guitar solo performed by Carlos Santana.
